**Role Overview**

This role is responsible for the development and implementation of supply chain policies and procedures with the goal of assuring stock supply while seeking to reduce costs. The specific duties of the Supply Chain Specialist include maintaining adequate inventory, improving efficiencies in supply chain processes, and creating performance reports for management. The Supply Chain Specialist will communicate with other departments to establish inventory plans, identify issues, and develop solutions to help achieve corporate objectives.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Creating and maintaining stock allowances, inventory forecasts and production schedules.
- Contributing to the development and oversight of inventory and logistics systems.
- Assisting with the creation and implementation of e-commerce procedures and policies with regards to inventory, warehousing, and logistics.
- Preparing DIFOT reporting and other performance reports for management.
- Creation, implementation, and oversight of the 3PL SOPs with respect to outgoing orders, assembly orders and any incoming goods.
- Oversight and signing authority of customs documentation.
- Verifying and approving inventory reconciliations and cycle counts.
- Creation and validation of new UPC’s and new item codes for approval submission.
- Facilitating with other departments to administer and oversee all packaging updates and version control for existing and new items.
- Working with regulatory consultants to ensure compliance and maintenance of supplement fact panels for Canada, US and international.
- Ensuring compliance in item maintenance portals and sustainability programs including but not limited to GS1, One World Sync, WERCS, stewardship programs etc.
- Working with consultants and manufacturing facilities on the creation, implementation and maintenance of quality control, recall policies and site license documentation.
- Adherence to operational budgets including, but not limited to freight in/out, inventory adjustments, customs, distribution fees.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing other related tasks as assigned and needed.

Performing managerial duties including:

- _Setting KPI’s for supply chain team._
- _Supporting team with achieving KPI’s._
- _Assistance with hiring and training new staff members._
- _Performing disciplinary actions and ongoing reviews._

**Required Knowledge, Skills, Education & Experience**
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Ability to work with details and time-sensitive issues.
- Thorough knowledge of basic accounting & inventory procedures.
- Ability to address operational concerns and issues while monitoring overall customer satisfaction.
- Ability to conduct research for special projects, respond timely inquiries, and present written/ oral briefings.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to speak and write English efficiently and effectively.

**Salary**: $58,000.00-$65,000.00 per year

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Inventory management: 5 years (required)
- Supply Chain Management: 2 years (required)
