Renal Technician Hemodialysis

Reporting to the Patient Care Manager, the Renal Technician will perform daily routine functions relating to haemodialysis.

Qualifications include:

- Ontario Secondary School Graduation Diploma.
- A post-secondary degree or diploma in a recognized Dialysis Technician Certification Program or in a related field (i.e. Life Sciences, Engineering Technology, Nursing) or equivalent experience in the field required.
- Current certification in Basic Lifesaver, Basic Rescue Level C, or Heart Saver Plus issued by St. Joseph's Health Centre.
- Demonstrates excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and communicates fluently and effectively in the English language, both verbal and written skills.
- Knowledge of basic supply processing and distribution functions associated with the nursing unit.
- Good attendance record.
