**Position Overview**: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Project Manager to join our Construction & Development team. The Assistant Project Manager will support the Project Manager in overseeing various real estate development projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires excellent organizational skills, a solid understanding of project management principles, and a keen ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Project Coordination:

- Assist the Project Manager in planning and executing construction and development projects from inception to completion.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project milestones are achieved.
- Track project timelines, deliverables, and budgets to ensure adherence to project plans.
- Manage documentation, including contracts, permits, and change orders.
- Site Management:

- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and project specifications.
- Assist in resolving on-site issues and coordinate with the construction team to ensure seamless workflow.
- Budget & Cost Control:

- Assist in preparing and monitoring project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and identifying potential cost-saving opportunities.
- Review and track invoices, change orders, and project expenditures.
- Stakeholder Communication:

- Maintain regular communication with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders, providing updates on project status, risks, and issues.
- Prepare and present project reports and documentation for internal and external audiences.
- Risk Management:

- Identify potential risks to the project and assist in developing strategies for mitigation.
- Assist in developing contingency plans to address potential project delays or obstacles.
- Administrative Support:

- Maintain project management documentation, including schedules, reports, and progress updates.
- Assist in preparing tender documents, reviewing bids, and evaluating contractor proposals.
- Compliance & Quality Control:

- Ensure projects meet all legal, safety, and environmental standards and requirements.
- Assist in quality control efforts by coordinating inspections and reviewing project outputs.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in project management, construction, or real estate development.
- Strong understanding of construction and development processes, including scheduling, budgeting, and contract management.
- Familiarity with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Proficient in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Procore) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and manage competing priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- PMP certification or similar is a plus.
- Frequent travel to business properties in North America will be required.
