Experienced Nassco Video Operator

We are seeking an experienced NASSCO (National Association of Sewer Service Companies) Video Operator to join our dynamic team. As a Video Operator, you will play a crucial role in conducting pipeline inspections using sewer CCTV (Closed-Circuit Television) equipment, recording critical data, and ensuring accurate documentation of pipeline conditions. Occasional out of town work.
**Responsibilities**:
- Operate specialized sewer CCTV equipment to inspect underground pipelines.
- Conduct thorough inspections of sewer and stormwater infrastructure.
- Record detailed video footage and capture images of pipeline conditions.
- Identify defects, cracks, blockages, and other issues within pipelines.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations during field operations.
- Collaborate with project managers and field technicians to analyze inspection data.
- Maintain and troubleshoot CCTV equipment as needed.
- Generate comprehensive inspection reports and documentation.
**Qualifications**:
- Current Class 5 Drivers License (required)
- Current Drivers Abstract (required)
- Proven experience as a NASSCO-certified Video Operator.
- Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting CCTV equipment.
- Strong understanding of pipeline inspection methodologies and standards.
- Knowledge of NASSCO PACP (Pipeline Assessment Certification Program) coding.
- Ability to interpret pipeline inspection data accurately.
- Excellent attention to detail and observational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to comprehend and communicate effectively in English.
- Must be physically capable of lifting and hauling up to 100lbs.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Additional certifications in pipeline inspection or related fields.
- Prior experience with sewer or stormwater infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with GIS (Geographic Information Systems) software.
