We are looking for experienced and reliable people who want to make Feature Foods a place to grow their careers. **The current opportunity is for a QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST.**

**WHAT WILL YOU DO?**
- Develop and maintain documentation associated with Safe Quality Food/Preventive Controls program (CFIA/FDA), the hazard analysis and Critical control point (HACCP) plan and other quality Assurance related programs to ensure they are updated with the current requirements (regulatory corporate and customer).
- Evaluate raw materials, finished products and processes for alignment to food safety, fraud and quality guidelines.
- Review all aspects of the SQF program to ensure all associated registers and schedules are current and up to date.
- Review and maintain Supplier monitoring /Raw material documentation for compliance within established frequencies.
- Facilitate and maintain records on shelf life evaluation studies for validation of new products/processes developed.
- Conduct internal safety inspections as required and participate in monthly food safety review meetings.

**OUR REQUIREMENTS -Do you have what it takes?**

Bachelor's degree in food science, microbiology/related sciences.

Minimum two years experience in a Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) inspected facility.

Experience with coordination Global Food safety Initiative programs-preferably Safe Quality Food (SQF).

Methodical approach with attention to details to ensure a thorough assessment of products/processes by ensuring activities that may impact food safety or decrease product quality are identified.
