**Temporary SEASONAL Labourer III - Parks & Recreation Department**

The City of Martensville has three (3) openings for temporary full-time SEASONAL Labourer IIIs.

SCHEDULE:

- Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
- Earned Days Off (EDOs) scheduled every third Friday.
- The 2024 employment period will be April 15 through October 24, 2024.

The role performs a wide variety of duties and is responsible for the following:
JOB DUTIES:

- Maintenance of parks, playing fields, playgrounds, and boulevards.
- Assist with sports & leisure facilities' maintenance and operations.
- Operate equipment for Parks & Recreation.
- Minor maintenance of small equipment.
- Other duties as assigned.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Applicants must:

- Be available for full-time work from April 15 to October 24, 2024.
- Be safety conscious and demonstrate a high level of attentiveness to their own personal safety as well as that of their co-workers and the public.
- Be able to perform physically strenuous work and to work outdoors under various weather conditions.
- Have their Grade 12 diploma and a valid Class 5 Driver's License.
- Experience in equipment operation, parks maintenance, general labour, or construction is preferred.
- Municipal work experience is considered an asset.

RATE OF PAY:

- As per CUPE local Agreement: Probationary Rate: $19.00/hour. Non-Probationary Rate: $21.11/hour.
