Type: Internal & External - Indeterminate, Full-Time
Hours of Work: Tuesday through Saturday (hours will vary between 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. to meet operational needs), occasionally Saturday or evening events may be required.
Compensation: $47 - $50K per year, depending on experience. Atira provides a generous and comprehensive benefits package and matching defined contribution pension plan.

Atira Women’s Arts Society (AWAS) is a not-for-profit organization committed to providing economic opportunities for women by teaching, making and selling art and crafts in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside.
About the Job:
About You:
Qualifications:

- You have a Degree in business, culinary management or marketing preferred, demonstrated equivalent experience considered.
- Knowledge of chocolate making, and coffee roasting is a plus, but not required.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Financial acumen with experience in budget management.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and quality.
- Proficiency in software tools, including QuickBooks, for financial tasks.
- Flexibility and adaptability to handle diverse responsibilities.
- Willingness to adhere to work-safe practices at all times
- Additional Requisites/Assets:

- Food Safe Certificate is Required within 30 days of hiring.
- Knowledge of the Downtown East Side (history, organizations, services, issues and politics) an asset.
- Covid-19 and annual flu vaccinations are required, unless with an exemption
- You must have a legal authorization to work in Canada.
