**Organizational Overview**:
Founded in 1879, Lakefield College School is a leader among Canada’s independent boarding and day schools and prides itself on its reputation for providing a strong, caring community, a well-rounded program, and a transformational student experience on one of the largest waterfront campuses in the country. Of our total student population of 425, we have 290 students who live on campus, coming from over 40 countries. **Position Description**

**Specific Accountabilities**:

- Managing recruitment markets through data analysis to inform strategy
- Engagement and coordination of enrolment events and participation at fairs
- Portfolio requirement may necessitate recruitment travel
- Representing the school, its programs, mission, vision, and values to the external community
- Interviewing students and securing, reviewing and assessing all admission documents according to established criteria
- Supporting and/or leading virtual and on-campus recruitment events such as open houses, Opening, Fall Fair, Home to the Grove, Parents’ Week and Regatta Day to promote the larger enrolment goals and outcomes
- Liaising with various school departments (e.g., Guidance, Academics, Foundation) to advance the mission, vision, and values of the school

**Skills & Experience**
- University degree
- Understanding of the culture of an independent boarding school
- Previous day student recruitment and enrolment management experience considered an asset
- Domestic and international recruitment travel an asset; must have a current passport and be eligible to work in Canada
- Excellent communication (e.g., oral, written, and presentation) and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to set priorities, multi-task, and meet deadlines
- Proven ability to contribute positively to a team environment
- Ability to deal with sensitive situations with diplomacy and composure
- Second language an asset
