**Location**: Lake Cowichan, BC

**Wage**: Starting at $23.87/hr + WE = $29.87/hr

**Hours**: Full-time (30 to 40 hrs/week)

**About the Role**:
We’re on the lookout for a passionate **ECE-BC Certified professional **who understands the importance of high-quality childcare. If you’re ready to make an impact and bring joy to the lives of children and their families, we’d love to hear from you

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensure compliance with Early Childhood Registry Requirements and Licensing regulations.
- Collaborate with children, parents, staff, and volunteers to foster a nurturing environment.
- Develop and deliver engaging programs that support children’s physical, cognitive, emotional, and social growth.
- Lead creative activities, including storytelling, music, and art, and explore local attractions with the children.
- Maintain a safe and secure environment that promotes well-being.
- Observe and assess children’s progress, communicating effectively with parents and colleagues.
- Support children’s development in areas such as eating habits, personal hygiene, and social skills.
- Build strong relationships with co-workers and community service providers.

**Qualifications**:

- Valid ECE Certificate
- Valid First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Clear Criminal Record Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Enthusiasm for working with children and a team spirit

**Work Location**:In person
