Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Dog Trainer to join our team. As a Dog Trainer, you will be responsible for providing training and help educate pet owners about how to create /build a strong bond with their dogs while setting boundaries and teaching manners and life skills. This is a rewarding opportunity to work with dogs of all breeds and ages, helping them become well-behaved and obedient companions.

**Duties**:

- Conduct individual and group training sessions for dogs
- Assess dogs' behavior and create personalized training plans
- Teach basic obedience commands such as sit, stay, come, and heel
- Address behavioral issues such as aggression, separation anxiety, and leash pulling
- Utilize positive reinforcement techniques to encourage desired behaviors
- Provide guidance and support to dog owners on training methods and techniques
- Monitor dogs' progress and adjust training plans as needed

**Experience**:

- Previous experience as a Dog Trainer is a MUST. Looking for someone who can offer a wide variety of experience as a balanced trainer.
- looking for someone to help grow the business and dog training clientele and be creative with new content and class ideas
- Strong knowledge of dog behavior, breed characteristics, and training techniques
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively teach and explain concepts to dog owners and explain methods so owners are feeling supported.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for dogs
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments
- Experience in customer service is a plus

**Skills**:

- Ability to lift heavy objects such as dog crates or equipment if necessary
- Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with dog owners
