**Type of Shifts**:Days, Monday to Friday

**Approximate # of Hours per week**:37.5

**Hours of Work**:Work hours are 37.5 hours/week, however, extra hours can be required to meet workload demands. Work is performed at a computer. Business travel is required occasionally. The Reporting Engineer is available for afterhours escalation where appropriate.

**WHAT YOU’LL DO**:
Reporting to the Director, Data Operations, the Data Governance Lead is responsible for researching, planning and executing on the first Data Governance Program at PRHC. This includes the development of new policies, processes and procedures, which must be applied to all data programs and data products across the hospital, and across our regional partnerships. This role will be responsible for change management pertaining to Data Governance, and must collaborate closely with PRHC’s Chief Privacy Officer to ensure alignment between our physical and digital asset management practices. This role must promotes the data governance program, with a focus on consistent access and use of data, increased visibility of enterprise data assets, and educate and train business users on best practices for data management. Additionally, the Data Governance Lead partners with PRHC staff at all levels to create and implement technology solutions to produce highly managed, governed and trustworthy data assets to enable substantive regulatory supports. The Lead will play a key role in shaping data governance practices for the PRHC and developing and executing a data management roadmap. This role will also support on Data Quality initiatives.

**WHAT YOU’LL BRING**
- 5+ years of experience developing requirements and data governance practices
- Familiar with data quality/management tools such as Informatica, Altyryx, Collibra, Talend, Azure Purview
- Experience with both design of Data Governance programs, and ongoing recommendation of process improvements for enterprise data management and data governance processes
- Experience acting as an organizations primary resource on data governance in highly regulated industries
- High attention to detail to ensure data integrity, quality and management
- Seasoned self-starter who is excited by a quickly developing environment, with the ability to react to changes rapidly
- Proven ability to independently analyze problems and find innovative solutions
- Good understanding of highly regulated industry data governance policies to define logical data governance rules and practices
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships to partner across the hospital to review and understand needs and recommend, design and implement solutions
- Advanced critical thinking, analytical and decision-making capabilities
- Results oriented and deadline driven with an ability to multi-task, set priorities, coordinate and schedule effectively
- Familiar with Agile Methodologies, ideally having worked in an Agile team setting

**WHO YOU ARE**
- Masters Degree in Information Management/Library & Information Sciences **or **5+ years of working on data governance projects in a cross-functional environment of multiple data sources/repositories
- Certificates or diplomas in technical areas, Data Management, Data Governance, Metadata Management, Access controls
- Completion of training programs or courses related to project management, leadership, or communication
- Additional technical certifications or training, such as those offered by vendors or industry associations
- Five plus years of experience in the Records and Information Management/Data Governance field, with increasing levels of respon
