**Job Summary**:
Cordo Resto +Bar is seeking an inspiring leader who leads in the coordination and direction of the daily operations of food and beverage service for Cordo resto + bar to provide an elevated guest experience.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Actively promotes a vertical mindset in the work place
- Inspires and motivates the food and beverage team
- Coaching and training staff to enhance service experience
- Participates in HR duties including but limited to:
employee development, training, hiring, coaching, recognition
- Schedules all direct reports and manages daily labour and ensures it is within budget
- Actively contributes to the restaurant marketing brand management through promos and social media campaigns
- Drives the development of new business
- Ownership of beverage controls, inventories, ordering and receiving
- Liaise with kitchen team to ensure operational success and food quality
- Liaise with all hotel department as necessary to ensure
total guest satisfaction
- Daily opening floor checks and closing floor checks
- Performs other duties, as assigned, to meet business needs

**Qualifications**
- ** Minimum 2 years’ experience in a leadership role**:

- ** Minimum 3 years of experience in the food and beverage industry.** Experience within a hotel food and beverage environment considered an asset
- certification mandatory
- Must have Serving it right and Food safe certifications
- Proven ability to lead, coach, train and inspire employees
- Possess a positive attitude and works well with other team members
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership and decision making skills
- Experienced in Budgeting, Costing, and Inventory Control
- Open availability: Evenings and Weekends required
- ** Must be eligible to work in Canada
