We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Chiropodist to join our healthcare team. As a Chiropodist, you will be responsible for providing specialized foot and ankle care to patients. Your expertise will help diagnose and treat various foot conditions, including injuries, infections, and deformities. Duties
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' foot conditions, including medical history review and physical examinations
- Diagnose and treat various foot ailments, such as corns, calluses, ingrown toenails, plantar fasciitis, and fungal infections
- Perform minor surgical procedures, such as toenail removals or wound debridement
- Prescribe orthotic devices or recommend appropriate footwear to address biomechanical issues
- Educate patients on proper foot care techniques and preventive measures
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans
- Maintain accurate medical records and document patient progress

**Qualifications**:

- Valid license as a Chiropodist
- Proficiency in medical terminology and knowledge of podiatric medicine principles
- Experience working in a medical office or hospital setting preferred
- Strong patient care skills with the ability to provide compassionate and empathetic care
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members
- Ability to collect and analyze patient data to inform treatment decisions
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems (e.g., Epic) is a plus
- Experience in acute care, home care, pediatrics, or research is desirable
