Located in Delta, BC, Niradia Group of Companies is a privately-owned organization that has long standing experience, a proven track record and a well-respected presence in Western Canada in the construction, real estate, hospitality and property management industries.

Viaggio Hospitality Group is our restaurant and hospitality division. It is comprised of a collection of upscale restaurants, casual restaurants, bars, night clubs, hotels, and private liquor stores. Each establishment is its own unique concept but all are unified in exceptional service, quality offerings, and genuine hospitality.

We are currently looking for an experienced **Controller **to join our talented leadership team and oversee the hospitality group. This role reports directly to the Corporate Controller and manages a department of four team members in addition to providing training and resources to all hotel, restaurant and retail team members and managers as it relates to financial obligations, inventory and controls, purchasing, cash controls, forecasting, budgeting and analysis of statements.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee all financial functions of the hospitality group - ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Monitor each venue’s financial performance and makes recommendations for improvements and cost control
- Analyze purchasing trends, suppliers, AP processes, policies
- Ensure accurate cash flow forecasting to support any funding requests to Group
- Prepare monthly management reports - including departmental PNL
- Prepares monthly and annual operating budgets and forecasts
- Monitor and evaluate all financial information
- Balance sheet reconciliations - ensure comprehension
- Ensure that the management teams are properly supported to fulfil their roles and financial scope

Qualifications:

- Previous Controller experience
- Experience within the hospitality industry
- Accounting designation is an asset
- Extremely motivated, self-starter
- Ability to deal with all levels of management professionally
- Someone who thrives in a high volume environment
- Excellent communication skills. Must be proficient in English
- Positive attitude and strong problem solving skills
