**The opportunity**

Altus Group is looking for a new Bilingual Proposal Coordinator to join our Montreal team. You will assist with the business development and growth of Altus Group’s Cost & Project Management group. Specifically, the role will focus on proposals and administrative tasks, including research, analysis, development, tracking, and writing proposals for prospective and existing clients.

You will lead the proposal preparation process by guiding and expediting submission elements by team members responsible for developing proposal content.

**What you will focus on**:

- **Coordination. **You will liaise with management, technical, proposal and marketing staff to create proposals tailored to each project’s unique requirements and timelines. You will ensure proposals are delivered by the prescribed methods (online, hand-delivered, etc.) by deadlines.
- **Procurement. **You will s earch relevant bid sites for potential opportunities as lead consultants and sub-consultants, i.e., Merx, Biddingo, PWGSC/Federal Buy & Sell, and other federal, provincial and municipal websites deemed suitable. You will identify the Expression of Interest (EOI), Request for Proposal (RFP) and Request for Quotation (RFQ) and distribute them to appropriate technical staff for review.
- **Collaboration. **You will work with proposal personnel from other Altus Business Units (BU’s), Corporate Communications and Sales & Marketing staff, and sub-consultants. In addition, you will coordinate joint BU or cross-discipline submissions as appropriate.
- **Tracking. **You will enter leads in SalesForce and update progress from proposal to job. You will produce reports for technical staff to follow up on pending/held submissions.
- **Content generation. **You will liaise with various groups (IT, HR, etc.) to extract information pertinent to standard responses required for proposals. You will coordinate with technical staff to prepare descriptions of projects for marketing materials and resumes. You will research and draft new material or update existing content.
- **Administration. **You will prepare presentations for clients as required for senior staff. You will assist in coordinating monthly expenses, invoices and receivables, organizing travel arrangements, and supporting special events. In addition, you will coordinate and communicate with other offices and business units within Altus Group.

**You will have**:

- **The experience. **You have worked as a proposal, project, or administrative coordinator on a project team, balancing competing high-pressure priorities, conducting research, writing, and liaising with individuals across teams, managers, and executives. You have a proven ability to elicit and collect data and information to create best-in-class documents.
- **The accountability. **You take ownership of your deliverables, managing all the details without losing sight of the big picture.
- **The interpersonal skills. **You have professional research, oral, and written communication skills in French and English. You have good research, quantitative and analytical skills, strong proof-reading abilities, and the ability to create comprehensive correspondence, proposal responses, and client presentations. You are client service-oriented and can build collaborative relationships with stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
- **The technical skills. **You are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and you may have exposure to Adobe Creative Suite and Salesforce. You can create aesthetically pleasing proposals and information material in line with Altus Group branding, format, insert photos/graphics, manipulate layout, etc.
