Easter Seals NL seeks an outgoing individual to fill the Fund Development and Communications Assistant - Lotteries role. This person will be required to support and assist the Fund Development and Communications Officer - Events and Campaigns in planning and executing all fundraising campaigns and events within the contract period. The primary responsibility will be to assist with the Luxury Cabin Lottery logistics while supporting our Outdoor Summer Concert Series, Dash For Donuts, Disability Golf Classic and Celebrate The Season.

The Fund Development and Communications Assistant - Lotteries is a dynamic and energetic people-person willing to make cold calls to potential donors and supporters, recruit participants and teams for events, assist with our Luxury Cabin Lottery Logistics, and collect prize donations. Is calm under pressure, passionate about working in the nonprofit sector, and is a team player

**Core Responsibilities**

Ability to work independently and collaboratively with the Fund Development and Communications team on lotteries, campaigns, and events.

Ability to stay organized and maintain attention to detail while working on multiple competing projects and deadlines.

Ability to lead a team of volunteers.

**Qualifications**

Post-secondary degree or diploma is an asset. A combination of education and experience will be considered.

Knowledge of and comfort with a variety of Microsoft Office programs, Google, fundraising software, Adobe, and Zoom.

Strong presentation, organization, and communication skills.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- St. John's, NL: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required).

Work Location: In person.

Flexibility in hours of work, including some weekends and evenings.

Own Transportation and Valid Drivers Licence.
