Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sushi Chef to join our team at our renowned restaurant. As a Sushi Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality sushi dishes to our customers. If you have a passion for sushi and enjoy working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, we would love to hear from you.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare sushi dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure the quality and freshness of ingredients used in sushi preparation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station and kitchen area
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely food preparation and delivery
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with inventory management and ordering of sushi ingredients
- Train and mentor junior sushi chefs as needed

**Experience**:

- Previous experience working as a Sushi Chef or in a similar role within the food industry
- Strong knowledge of sushi preparation techniques and presentation
- Proficient in handling various types of fish and seafood
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment used for sushi preparation
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices

Note: This is a paid position.

**Salary**: $22.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 35 per week

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Cooking: 5 years (required)

**Language**:

- English (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Food Handler Certification (preferred)
- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
