**THE OPPORTUNITY**

Is responsible for the development and implementation of continuous improvement projects to improve productivity, reduce waste and deliver cost savings. Engineering Students are welcome to apply, must be wiling to travel to USA or Mexico if needed.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**
- At Plant level, provide lean manufacturing expertise including Health and Safety, Quality, Production, Control & Logistics (PC&L) and Production system based on Lean Manufacturing principles to contribute to achieve operational business targets.
- Contribute to the Plant cost budget construction & achievement.
- Follow up of the CI deployment plan, to support the Plant Improvement Plan (PIP) execution.
- Provide, according to the needs, lean manufacturing knowledge, and skills to the plant team through training, coaching and education.
- Propose and promote best practices within the Plant
- Lean and Digital Transformation
- Participate in Division level workshops to test the new” lean concept” or advanced tools.
- Support Division team on common initiatives and report consolidation
- Contribute to the building and follow up of the site and department improvement plans.
- Ensure CI standards and principles are used.
- Coach the Plant staff through, in particular, shopfloor improvement activities.
- Report to the CI Manager and liaise with Production and Engineering departments to ensure their own knowledge of Group Standards and best practices is developed.
- Updates and validates value stream mapping
- Supports production and logistics in implementing, follows and audit pull system

**WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE**

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Engineering degree

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in continuous improvement, or significant apprenticeship experience in continuous improvement preferably in industrial environment
- Skills and competencies
- Proven technical skills on product and process
- Familiar with finance issues (costing, P&L, investments)
- Strong team work skills, interpersonal and communication skills;
- Basic Knowledge of Lean Thinking
- Good interpersonal relationship skills and trainer’s skills
- Ability to work in a matrix organisation;
- Open minded
- International mindset
- AutoCAD and Excel
