**This position is a 12-week contract position.**

Barrie Housing is a non-profit housing provider in the City of Barrie, Ontario. The portfolio has a total of 964 apartments and town houses located at 14 different locations across the city.

The Community Development Worker will work with Barrie Housing's tenant population to support resident-led groups and broader community resources, identify tenant and community needs, advocate for collective action, and implement services and projects that serve the tenants and community.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Work as an integral part of the Community Development Team
- Contribute to tenant engagement activities and the tenant engagement strategy.
- Coordinate engaging programs and services for Barrie Housing tenants, especially youth and seniors.
- Analyze data from tenant surveys to identify trends and tenant needs.
- Connect with community agencies to develop partnerships, increase programming and increase Barrie Housing's sustainability.
- Develop promotional material to advertise programs and services to the tenants and community.
- Work closely with tenants to develop programs and committees.
- Provide data and reports to Community Development Worker as requested.

Pay: $19.00 per hour
