Vancouver, Canada Kambo Energy Group Full time

**ABOUT KAMBO ENERGY GROUP**

Kambo Energy Group is a social enterprise committed to improving home comfort, safety, and energy efficiency in underserved communities. Founded in 2009, Kambo was created in response to the lack of participation in utility and government retrofit programming from households with low-to-moderate incomes, diverse multicultural communities, Indigenous communities, and other harder-to-reach groups. Over the course of 14 years, Kambo’s community-centered approach has helped utilities, governments, and other industry partners boost participation by embedding equity considerations into energy and home retrofit programs.

Kambo is home to three in-house programs: Empower Me, Community Power, and the Home Upgrades Program. Empower Me delivers multilingual education, support, and coaching services to ensure immigrant and newcomer communities have access to energy and retrofit programs. Community Power partners with Indigenous communities to facilitate home building, renovation, and improvement projects. The Home Upgrades Program provides fully subsidized energy retrofits to improve affordability for Albertan households living in energy poverty.

Kambo is led by a group of dynamic and passionate people who take our work seriously, but not ourselves. We believe Kambo is the place where people can show up as their full-self and do the best work of their lives in an engaging, dynamic, and fun environment.
