**The Opportunity**

This position works out of our Mississauga location in the Abbott Diabetes Care Division. We’re focused on helping people with diabetes manage their health with life-changing products that provide accurate data to drive better-informed decisions. We’re revolutionizing the way people monitor their glucose levels with our new sensing technology.

**What You’ll Do**
- Developing, designing, enhancing, and maintaining analytical reports utilizing various information sources and software systems.
- Support business and finance teams with analysis that yields actionable insights that support with increase market share, sales and margin.
- Gain understanding of the content, use and implication of Key DBs and BI tools and learns to communicate findings in a strategic fashion providing council and recommendations for further action.
- Support in identifying key business questions/issues, perform analysis and summarize conclusions/ recommendations Support in the development and delivery of business reviews.
- Responds to queries/info needs from business in terms of BI needs related to the assigned brand.
- Research and uncover new sources of BI information via the internet/Library, etc.
- Contributes by providing week/month/year-end updated data to business.
- Attends all relevant sales management or regional meetings, supporting business with data required for meeting preparation.

**Commercial Operations Responsibilities (20%)**:

- Act as a resource person for all cross functional teams with providing insights on data and industry.
- Manage and update data insight tools used by different teams.
- Prepare ad-hoc reports/analysis related to the Organization’s performance and such demands will be a common demand on the incumbent's time, along with regular performance reporting.
- Maintenance integrity and accuracy information in BI platforms used by the organization.
- Perform Bottom-up forecasting to support with the LBE and LRP process

**Education & Experience**:

- Bachelor’s Degree
- Three to 5 years related experience

**Required Skills & Abilities**:

- Advanced knowledge of Excel models and in market BI tools
- Experience with healthcare and pharmaceutical data sources such as Claims data, prescribing data, pharmacy level sales data and patient utilization data
- Learn, understand and acquires advanced knowledge of Business Intelligence and Sales Analysis tools and software
- Possessing strong business acumen and interpersonal skills
- Strong primary research experience
