The Opportunity

Weâre focused on helping people with diabetes manage their health with life-changing products that provide accurate data to drive better-informed decisions. Weâre revolutionizing the way people monitor their glucose levels with our new sensing technology.

What Youâll Do

  • Create a comprehensive national medical education strategy, plan, and tools to capture insights, educate and enhance knowledge of HCPs, and build advocacy with KOLs. Build trust and maintain relationships with key influencers and decision makers to build long term professional relationship at the health care executives, industry leaders (ie. MEDEC) patient groups (ie Canadian Diabetes Association, JDRF), Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and CHE professionals.

  • Lead team of Regional CHE Managers ensuring effective and collaborative execution of national CHE plan, comprehensive collection of insights, and partnerships with regional KOLs.

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment to strategy, development of quality medical education assets, and implementation of high value tools for HCPs.

  • Establish and standardize measurements/KPIs to support consistent tracking of CME activities and allow continuous improvement of medical education.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelorâs degree required, Masters of Science/Business degree would be considered an asset.

  • Five plus years of progressive experience.

  • 2-3 years in a commercial role in sales or marketing.

  • Ability to develop and foster credible relationship with KOLs/decision makers.

  • Knowledge of health care systems at a national or provincial level.

  • Pharmaceutical policy/industry knowledge.

  • Experience in government relations and/or patient advocacy groups.

  • French would be considered an asset

  • Travel approximately 50%.

Que ferez-vous?

  • Créer une stratégie nationale globale en matière de formation médicale, un plan et des outils pour rassembler les points de vue, former et améliorer les connaissances des professionnels de la santé, et renforcer les compétences en matière de plaidoyer avec les leaders dâopinion clés. Ãtablir un lien de confiance et entretenir des relations avec les influenceurs et les décideurs clés afin de développer une relation professionnelle à long terme avec les dirigeants du secteur de la santé, les leaders de lâindustrie (c.-à-d. MEDEC), les groupes de patients (c.-à-d. lâAssociation canadienne du diabète, FRDJ), les leaders dâopinion clés (KOL) et les professionnels des formations médicales continues (FMC).

  • Diriger une équipe de gestionnaires régionaux de FMC tout en assurant le déroulement efficace et collaboratif du plan national de FMC, le recueil exhaustif des points de vue et les partenariats avec les KOL régionaux.

  • Collaborer avec les parties prenantes internes et externes pour assurer lâalignement sur la stratégie, le développement de ressources de formation médicale de qualité et la mise en Åuvre dâoutils à forte valeur ajoutée pour les professionnels de la santé.

  • Ãtablir et normaliser les mesures/indicateurs clés de performance pour soutenir un suivi cohérent des activités de CME et permettre lâamélioration continue de la formation médicale.

Qualifications requises

  • Baccalauréat requis, un Master en sciences/commerce sera considéré comme un atout.

  • Plus de cinq ans dâexpérience progressive.

  • 2 à 3 ans dâexpérience dans un rôle commercial dans la vente ou le marketing.

  • Capacité à développer et à favoriser des relations crédibles avec les KOL/décideurs.

  • Connaissance des systèmes de soins de santé au niveau national ou provincial.

  • Connaissance de la politique/lâindustrie pharmaceutique.

  • Expérience dans le domaine des relations gouvernementales et/ou des groupes de défense des patients.

  • Le français sera considéré comme un atout

  • Déplacements à environ 50 % du temps de travail.
