**Role Responsibilities**:

Reporting to the Director, Modernization and IMT, the Manager, Modernization and IMT Delivery is responsible for leading a unit of service transformation professionals to ensure timely delivery and scale of IMT modernization initiatives as well as coordination of service transformation initiatives across the ministry's divisions.

The Manager, Modernization and IMT Delivery will be accountable for:
Delivering a range of IMT services to departments to support and transform processes and legacy systems;

Aligning ministry initiatives with the broader government goals of Red Tape Reduction, IMT policy frameworks, and ministry business plans and mandates;

Maintaining and building communication channels between stakeholder groups and providing ongoing updates on progress, risk and costs impacting priority projects.

**Qualifications**:
**Required**:

- University Degree in a Computer Science, Information Technology, Business or Public Administration or related field plus a minimum of 3 years progressively responsible related experience; or equivalent as described below.

**Equivalency**:

- Directly related education or experience considered on the basis of:

- 1 year of education for 1 year of experience; or 1 year of experience for 1 year of educationMinimum recruitment standards outline the minimum education and experience required for appointment to a job classification.
