**JOB OVERVIEW**:
You will be responsible for performing heavy-duty maintenance and other miscellaneous duties in order to ensure that buildings and facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe, and sanitary manner. The Project Worker will use heavy machinery in order to successfully strip and wax floors.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Clean and care for buildings and facilities ensuring that are maintained in a safe and healthy manner
- Must be able to utilize heavy machinery to diligently wax and strip floors
- Must have intermediate to advanced knowledge of chemical usage
- Maintain storage areas and cleaning equipment, materials, and supplies in a safe and orderly manner in order to ensure the safety of all the public
- Secure storage areas
- Ensure cleaning materials/supplies are stored in a safe and orderly manner
- Report or perform equipment repairs and report stock shortages
- Report damage and acts of vandalism
- Perform other duties as required per business needs

**SKILLS AND ABILITIES**:

- Knowledge of standard cleaning procedures, chemicals, products, and equipment
- Knowledge of Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System
- Ability to read & understand labels & instructions

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Previous related experience considered an asset
- Valid driver's license
- Acceptable security and criminal record check
