Sous la supervision du Chef Innovation et développement de produits, le Spécialiste, innovation et développement de produits planifie, coordonne et participe aux activités d’innovation, de développement et de mise au point de nouveaux produits et procédés. Tout en respectant les échéanciers établis, il mène à terme, de façon lean et efficace, les projets de réduction de coûts, de soutien technique aux usines, d’innovation et de développement de nouveaux produits qui lui sont confiés, dans le but de mettre en marché des produits innovants, à coûts compétitifs.

**En quoi consiste ce rôle**:

- Analyse les informations, élabore des protocoles expérimentaux, développe les produits tout en respectant les procédures et processus en place;
- Planifie, organise et réalise les essais laboratoire et en usine pilote et en adapte le développement en fonction de nos divers procédés de fabrication;
- Calcule des coûts de recettes, prépare et soumet les informations techniques tel que prévu dans le processus;
- Supervise l’implantation de ces produits en usine à l’échelle industrielle jusqu’à la commercialisation des produits et ce, dans divers sites de production internes et externes (Co-manufacturiers);
- Formule les nouveaux produits et produits existants de sa catégorie afin qu’ils répondent aux objectifs financiers de l’entreprise. Il est sensible aux variations de prix des ingrédients de sa catégorie sur le marché, identifie des opportunités rentables pour l’entreprise et les recommande ;
- Travaille en étroite collaboration avec les technologues du laboratoire R&D, avec ses collègues à l’interne et agit à titre d’expert technique notamment auprès du Marketing, Opérations, Ingénierie et Achats stratégiques. Il collabore également avec les équipes de Réglementation, de Qualité et avec divers fournisseurs externes de biens et de services ;
- En collaboration avec l’équipe, il exécute des revues de marché et des SWOT des produits de sa catégorie et effectue la vigie de marché en fonction des alignements stratégiques de la catégorie ;
- Planifie, organise et exécute des sessions d’évaluation sensorielle et participe activement aux activités d’innovation de l’entreprise (Innoday) ;
- Identifie et évalue de nouvelles technologies et procédés pouvant permettre des innovations clés, en évalue la faisabilité technique et émet les recommandations à la direction et aux différents secteurs de la catégorie.

**Ce qu'il te faut pour joindre notre équipe**:

- Baccalauréat en technologie alimentaire, génie alimentaire ou une formation équivalente.
- Expérience pertinente d’au moins 3 ans en R&D dans le secteur alimentaire (secteur laitier un atout), en gestion de projets et tout particulièrement dans développement de nouveaux produits.
- Bilinguisme oral et écrit (Anglais et Français) - Communications fréquentes avec des partenaires, clients et/ou employés à l’extérieur du Québec.
- Déplacements requis (disponible pour voyager et travailler à des heures irrégulières).
- Bonne connaissance informatique des logiciels usuels.
