Reporting to the Director, Operations & Finance, the Inventory Planner will be responsible for analyzing and scheduling inventory requirements for Mississauga location based on customer demand.

**NOTE**: This is a fixed term position, position will go to September 30, 2025.

**Essential Functions**:

- Analyze inventory on hand against sales backlog and sales forecast, determining the ideal stock levels and ideal product mix.
- Submit requisitions and purchase orders to manufacturing sites
- Resolve scheduling problems through coordination with manufacturing, shipping, quality assurance, and customer service
- Reserve on hand inventory against customer order to meet delivery commitments.
- Provide insight and support to customer service in support of backlog management and lead-time communication
- Develop and maintain system to examine metrics for inventory management
- Develop and maintain a working knowledge of products and processes to ensure optimum inventory levels are maintained
- Incorporate new products into the forecast and delivery schedule
- Establish and maintain, a cross-functional communication network across the business with an emphasis on real-time interaction to assure product supply meets current customer demand
- Coordinate weekly meetings with operations team.

**Skills Requirements**:

- Working knowledge of relevant ERP functionally including bills of materials and inventory management
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Oracle experience is a strong benefit.
- The desire, willingness, and ability to work in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment
- Must be mathematically inclined, with an analytical aptitude
- Must be a strong team player, willing to go the extra mile for the customer

**Required/Preferred Education and Experience**:

- BA/BS Preferred
- 3-5+ years Materials / Inventory Planning experience preferred
