**What you will do**:
SWEL Inclusive Curriculum and Wellbeing Specialists (ICWS) work collaboratively across the SWEL portfolio, PPDR, and Teaching Excellence teams to promote, teach, demonstrate, and integrate evidence-based teaching and learning strategies that align with Humber’s values and strategic initiatives related to Equity and Accessibility, Health and Wellbeing, Digital Learning Strategies, Sustainability and Flexible Learning Strategies across curricular, co-curricular, and extra-curricular domains.

In close partnership with PPDR and the Teaching Excellence teams, the SWEL ICWS team will collaborate on the development and delivery of professional learning experiences for faculty and staff to enable inclusive approaches to teaching, learning, and assessment; and establishment and collaborative leadership of a pan-College, cross-functional Community of Practice to support this work. This role also supports Humber’s competency-based professional learning model to develop faculty and staff in building skills, knowledge and behaviours essential to innovative using equitable approaches to teaching and learning. These competencies are operationalized through relevant professional learning theories and frameworks such as Universal Design for Learning (UDL), the Humber Learning Outcomes (HLOs), inclusive design, evidence-based innovations in curriculum design and review, and other learner-centered approaches that foster global citizenship in students, faculty, and staff.

**What you bring to the role**:

- Master of Education, Curriculum and Pedagogy, Health Education and Promotion.
- At least five years of experience designing and facilitating professional learning opportunities for faculty/staff groups in postsecondary education.
- Expertise and proficiency to support faculty development in topics and theories related to equity, diversity, inclusion and belonging (EDIB) including Universal Design for Learning (UDL), justice-informed and anti-oppression theories and practices in teaching, anti-oppression, trauma-informed pedagogy, anti-racist and decolonization practices related to postsecondary education, curriculum design, curriculum alignment, and evidence-based approaches to teaching and learning.
- Highly collaborative, and able to work independently.
- Ability to work within, coach, and support cross-functional and interdisciplinary teams toward positive outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience in research methodology an asset.
- Familiar with flexible and non-traditional classroom designs that foster collaboration and reflect decolonized approaches to teaching and learning.
- Familiar with popular educational technology tools used in postsecondary education in digital and classroom contexts.
- Strong digital fluency and adaptability skills with knowledge of at least one learning management system common in postsecondary education.
- Superior organizational, project management, communication (written and oral), and self-management skills.
- A demonstrated commitment to maintaining positive and equitable learning environments through effective facilitation strategies.
