**Qualifications**:
**We are looking for a passionate Electrical Technologist to join our team. Your overall organization, punctuality, involvement and drive to perform will contribute to advancement within our team. You must have a great attitude, a willingness to learn and the following requirements to be considered for the role**:
- Proven interpersonal skills along with strong written and oral communications skills
- Knowledge of power distribution, controls, lighting and the Canadian Electrical Code
- Ability to follow instructions and have the willingness to learn
- Ability to prioritize and complete assignments on time
- Able to work both in a team and with mínimal supervision
- High attention to detail
- Post-secondary education in Electrical Engineering or other relevant discipline
- AScT Designation is considered an asset
**The successful applicant will**:
- Undertake electrical designs relating to power distribution, street lighting and traffic signals.
- Set up and testing of electrical equipment
- Interface with clients and contractors
- Conduct site visits before, during and after construction
- Please note this is a hands on position and experience with power tools is considered an asset.
