Arborist

MCL is looking to hire a **Certified Arborist** to join our team.

**Responsibilities**
- Provide Arboriculture services and inspections to job sites
- Provide pruning and removal of trees up to electrical limits of approach
- Work as part of a crew in removal, disposal and cleanup of vegetation and debris
- Responsible for climbing, pruning and removing trees as per work specifications
- Capable of daily maintenance of truck, chipper and trimming equipment
- Management of customer service, job site, and crew operation
- General labor activities

**Knowledge & Skills**
- Working knowledge of modern arboriculture climbing & rigging techniques.
- Electrical safety and awareness and understanding
- Chainsaw sharpening and maintenance, wood chipper and stump grinder daily maintenance
- Arborist Certification

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- construction: 5 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Arborist Certificate (preferred)
- Drivers Licence (required)
