**Position Rationale**:
The role of a Crusher Maintenance Technician is crucial within our maintenance team. This position requires a skilled and experienced individual who can effectively inspect, repair, and maintain various types of crushers and associated equipment. By paying attention to detail, leveraging mechanical expertise, and demonstrating a commitment to safety, this role ensures the efficient and uninterrupted operation of our crushing machinery.

**Position Accountabilities**:

- Conduct regular inspections of crushers and related equipment to identify and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including lubrication, filter changes, and belt adjustments to ensure optimal crusher performance and minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems in crushers and associated systems, such as conveyors, screens, and feeders.

**Working Environment/Conditions**:

- Work in both indoor and outdoor settings, exposed to various weather conditions.
- Perform maintenance tasks in confined spaces and at heights.
- Operate in a construction site environment with noise, dust, and heavy machinery.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in mechanical maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Experience as a Crusher Maintenance Technician or similar role in the construction industry is an asset.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot and repair crushers and associated equipment.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
- Working knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems used in crushers.
- Ability to use hand and power tools effectively and safely.
- Highly motivated and able to work independently.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in challenging and sometimes adverse weather conditions.
