**The Opportunity**
The **P&C** Generalist**, reporting into the P&C Manager, partnering collaboratively with employees and management. The Human Resources Generalist operates within a decentralized line of business model, supporting clients requiring differing levels of support. The P&C Generalist provides assistance in the following P&C functional areas: recruiting, onboarding, offboarding, employee relations, training coordination and may be called to support other areas of HR when required.
**Your Key Accountabilities**
- Recruitment support, including drafting job descriptions, postings, screening, sourcing, and selection.
- Manage the onboarding and offboarding for employees.
- In partnership with the P&C Manager, provide guidance and coaching on disciplinary, grievance, absence and all associated Employee relations issues.
- Assist in developing employee surveys, collect, and analyze results and generate reports
- Prepare required paperwork for employee changes.
- Perform exit interviews and track results.
**Your Capabilities and Credentials**
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive human resources generalist and recruiting experience.
- Certificate or Diploma in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a business discipline, or equivalent experience.
- CPHR designation is an asset.
- Understanding of provincial legislation across Canada is an asset.
- Experience in a corporate and/or national retailer setting preferred.

- Impeccable judgment and professional maturity; demonstrated ability to advise on sensitive issues.
- Excellent judgement and creative problem-solving skills.
- Strong knowledge of relevant federal and provincial employment laws.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
