Building Superintendent

Hiring two on-site, full-time staff members to act in concert to provide equivalent-to-Superintendent coverage for a 130+ unit high rise condominium located in Waterloo, Ontario. The two staff members will become the primary day-to-day contacts for the building community and Property Management. Live-in or live-out options available.

**Requirements**:

- Prior experience as a multi-unit building Superintendent (or similar role)
- Pool Operator certification
- WHMIS certification
- Basic computer proficiency, including experience with Microsoft Products
- Must have knowledge of building systems (boilers, chillers, pool, etc.)
- Clear communication skills (verbal and written)
- Excellent customer service skills, ensuring communication is positive and professional with owners and residents of the building, building contractors, and the board of directors
- Must be able to satisfy all basic requirements for employment by WNCC70, including, but not limited to: 1. criminal police information check (CPIC); 2. credit reference; 3. background check; 4. minimum education (high school diploma or foreign equivalency, or earned GED)
- Employees to secure the following within 60 days upon reporting to site (training paid by employer): 1. Work at Heights certification; 2. MLEO Parking Enforcement Officer

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- On call
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Waterloo, ON N2J 4L6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
