**Key Responsibilities**:
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Help support 200+ employees in the Toronto and surrounding offices
- Offer additional remote support to approximately 400 employees in other offices across Canada
- Workstation set up and user orientation
- Assist Network & Systems Administrators in deployment and maintenance of network systems and servers
- Communicate with managers and staff to understand business needs, promote utilization of systems, and achieve adherence to standards
**Professional Qualifications**:
EDUCATION
- Diploma or Degree in IT-related studies from accredited college or university, or equivalent experience
- Microsoft/Networking Certifications an asset
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 2 years relevant experience
- Experience supporting CAD or Engineering software an asset
- Experience supporting a large number of users in a fast paced environment
SKILLS
- Microsoft desktop and server operating systems
- Virtualisation technologies, e.g. VMware
- Microsoft software, e.g. Office 365, Skype-for-Business, Exchange, Systems Center, Dynamics CRM
- Knowledge of Active Directory and networking
- Experience troubleshooting mobile devices (Tablets, Smartphones, etc.).
- Knowledge of backup and imaging procedures and tools
- Self-starter that works efficiently as part of a team and independently
- Ability to interact professionally with all levels of business personnel and build strong working relationships
- Analytical problem solving ability
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Customer-focused mindset
