**Summary**:
Joining the On-Air team at CTV Regina and becoming an integral part of our Newsroom, this multi-talent and experienced individual will report to the News Director and be responsible for:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Anchoring Weather live in studio and on location.
- Produce and deliver concise, forecast-focused weather information (including weather graphics, weather updates and web casts).
- Consulting with Producers, Anchors, Reporters, Assignment Editor, and other Newsroom staff to provide creative input to the production of on-air content.
- Generating strong story ideas.
- Assist in driving the show in a positive and productive direction.
- Representing CTV at community and charity events, and making various public appearances.
- Other duties as assigned, which may include interviewing or reporting live.

**Critical Qualifications**:

- 2-3 years experience as a weather presenter in a similar size market newscast.
- Post Secondary Education in Broadcasting, or Journalism. Meteorology Degree would be a definite asset.
- Knowledge of television production procedures, terminology and equipment capabilities.
- Experience with breaking news. Strong interviewing and “live” reporting skills.
- Ability to add lib.
- Exceptional organization, leadership, concentration and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to react quickly and productively in a changing environment requiring immediate decision-making.
- Ability to adhere to tight deadlines and work with mínimal supervision.

**Additional Requirements**:
40 + hours per week. On-Air schedule would typically include Early mornings (CTV Morning Live).
