Miniature Model Painter

Four Realms of Chaos is a miniature painting studio located in Markham, ON.

Our studio is in the garage portion of a house with it's own separate entrance.

This will be more of an instructive lesson but not a guarantee you will get the position.

You do not need miniature painting experience. Attention to detail, a steady hand, following instructions, and neatness are the best skills you can have for this type of work.

We are also an appointment based business so we generally have **no walk-ins** and for this job posting I would only like those invited for a tryout to come by.

**Living close to Markham is a deal breaker** for this position. Past painters who were traveling from downtown Toronto didn't work out well. We'd like you to come consistently and that's hard with a long commute.

We are looking for 1-2 more painters.

Our business mostly paint miniatures from table top games such as Warhammer, board game pieces/miniatures, collectible toys, board game pieces, and 3D printed models.
- **Job Description and Payment**:_

You would be painting miniatures of course All materials are supplied by us.

This job is contract work. So each project is separate and will be paid for soon after you finish it. It is not an hourly wage, each project will have a budget and requirements. For example you will get X amount of dollars to paint Y amount of models to a certain painting quality required for the project.

Payment will be cheque or etransfer when you complete the assigned project. On average our painters make between $17.50 - $30 per hour based on their speed and skill.

This is a great PART TIME JOB for someone looking for about 20 to 30 hours of work per week. Ideally 3-4 days a week for 5-8 hours would be perfect. If you are only available less time we may consider it so please reach out anyways.
- **Work Environment and Hours**:_

Our current team has 7+ members.

Our HOURS: Monday-Friday 8AM-8PM.

We have a couple early raisers who come in consistently almost every morning at 8AM but we have those who stay late too. The best time for you to work would be morning-late afternoon for purposes of coordinating people and giving feedback on work.

Our work environment is very relaxed and fun spirited. You can listen to music and other entertainment. A few of us listen to podcasts and audio books together. I've been asked by a couple of our painters to say that if you like Anime you will quickly make friends here haha.

**Salary**: $17.50-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
