Toronto, Canada Yonge Street Mission Full time

Yonge Street Mission (YSM) is a vibrant, non-profit Christian organization leading a collective movement to end chronic poverty in Toronto. Since 1896, we’ve worked to transform the lives of people living with poverty, going beyond immediate needs by offering wrap-around support via holistic programs and services, and a pathway which enables street-involved youth, families in need, adults experiencing poverty and vulnerable communities to move from surviving to thriving.

To make this happen, we are passionate about investing in the people we work with, and look for a diverse range of staff who are key for us to advance our mission: Christians who have a heart for neighbours in need, a desire to transform the lives of our community members, and who believe in treating everyone with dignity and respect.

If you are inspired by our vision and feel a true call to contribute to YSM’s work, we’d love to hear from you.

**What We Offer**:
As a staff member at YSM, some of the things you can look forward to include a values-based and highly collaborative and engaging work environment with a high value on staff’s mental health and well-being; meaningful, innovative and impactful work, with opportunities to make a difference in the lives of children, families, and the community, as well as flexible hybrid work arrangements. Our competitive Total Rewards compensation package also includes Group RRSP matching, annual leave and paid personal days, comprehensive health and dental care coverage, an Employee and Family Assistance Program that includes counselling services by Christian professionals, and numerous other perks.

**The Opportunity**:
We are seeking a **Programs Analyst **to join our Programs and Partnership Department, as we work to achieve our ambitious goal to end chronic poverty in Toronto in one generation. The **Programs Analyst** will ensure the successful collection, documentation, analysis and reporting of information required for program compliance, reporting as well as monitoring of data for program performance improvement. This is a 37.5/hrs per week, full time position.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work collaboratively with relevant departments within YSM, supporting the programs teams with their tracking and analysis of data for program design, monitoring, improvement and strengthened funding proposal submissions
- Ensure program staff have appropriate financial and program data required for government sector funder reporting in a timely and accurate manner
- Gather, interpret and use multi-source program data to develop actionable steps to create, maintain and improve internal business processes
- Collaborate with YSM impact-measurement research and evaluation process (TIMES focused) to support data-informed decision making
- Support a culture of program and financial data review, continuous learning and feedback loop to all parts of the organization
- Work in collaboration internal stakeholders to determine information and data needs that continually improve the processes for data collection and monitoring as required
- Support the Sr. Director Programs on special and program-wide projects, including the preparation of briefing materials, in line with strategic direction as required

**Qualifications**:

- Business process and analysis expertise
- Strong data analysis and visualization skills and experience
- Sensitivity to and ability to work with a diverse staff team and all levels of the organization
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Keen understanding of poverty in Toronto
- Non-Profit Experience Preferred
- Knowledge of Salesforce an asset

**Additional**:

- A police check will be required
- Demonstrated personal commitment to YSM’s principles of faith, mission and values
- Able to provide flexibility in schedule where required
