Calypso Waterpark features a wide variety of attractions for people of all ages: 35 slides, 100 water games and 2 theme rivers It is also home to the largest wavepool in the country

Each season, Calypso welcomes thousands of families to enjoy our unique thrilling water adventures and provides employment for over 600 seasonal workers.

**Reports To **Senior Director Outdoor Operations

**Description**

The team Manager is responsible for the operations of the technical/mechanical team in our 100 acre waterpark. The Tech team provides repair and maintenance for all our client and operations facilities like restrooms, restaurants and offices. In addition, the team is responsible for the consistent performance of all our attractions including regular maintenance as well as replace & repair activities.
- Recruit staff and oversee staff training.
- Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance.
- Ensure Health and Safety regulations are followed.
- Planning and controlling budgets and expenditures.
- Arrange for maintenance and repair of equipment and other services.
- Communicate with all levels of personnel and patrons.
- Ability to manage section heads and crews
- Conduct staff discipline.
- Facilitate both day to day operational work alongside projects tasks management.
- Able to communicate project updates, scope and contingencies.
- Manage the work from a global, whole-park perspective and still understand the details of the tasks required
- Work with outside authority agencies to ensure compliance
- Troubleshoot pumps and motors with a solid understanding of mechanical and technical functionality and direct repairs and upkeep.

**Qualifications**
- Completion of post secondary school diploma in a related field.
- Previous certification as a TSSA Mechanic is a solid asset.
- Have a working knowledge of pumps, motors and mechanical features.
- Previous experience managing work crews
- Computer skills in Windows, General office equipment, Electronic mail, Electronic scheduler and Internet browser.
- Must have leadership experience. Must work well as a team.
- Punctual, organized, flexible, adaptable, reliable and ability to work under pressure.
- Must have a profound understanding of customer service.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $25.00 per hour
