We are currently expanding A new HR Coordinator - Crew position is now available This is a full-time, regular position. Crews work on a seasonal basis, from April to October.

**CREW MANAGEMENT COORDINATOR**

In this role, you will be an indispensable asset to the Operations team. You will work with the Operations Department to name, assign and schedule suitably qualified and certified shipboard crew members on the various vessels.

**Your responsibilities will be**:

- Maintain training standards for the seafarer, ensuring that all crew members have the proper education and training required to perform their duties in accordance with Transport Canada regulations.
- Process ship's crewtimesheets.
- Provide support to crew members on medical, disciplinary and career development matters.
- Works closely with managers to build and maintain a pleasant and respectful work environment, support seagoing personnel retention efforts.
- Intervene and respond to crew-related emergencies after hours and on weekends on a rotational basis.
- Any other job-related tasks may be requested.

**Requirements**:

- Post-secondary degree in nautical science, marine engineering, logistics, business administration or human resources. Any equivalent training may be deemed relevant.
- Minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience. Experience at sea and/or maritime operations are undeniable assets.
- Ability to organize at the level of highly developed operations.
- Manage high-volume workflow.
- Ability to cope with a multitasking workload.
- Excellent computer skills using Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Adobe Experience.
- Experience with the CNESST is an asset.
- Excellent communication assets (verbal, read, written) in English and French.
