**WE ARE LOOKING FOR A SHOP ASSISTANT**

The Shop Assistant is responsible for ensuring cleanliness of the yard and shop, as well as assisting with any tasks that are assigned to him/her daily. This role is an _**integral**_ part of the smooth daily operation of Wildwood Transport. We take pride in having a clean, organized and impressive shop and yard for everyone to enjoy If you want to take personal ownership of these areas and take pride in the fact that the mechanics and drivers can do their job in a safe and efficient manner, this job is for you

**WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TABLE**:

- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn new things and retain that knowledge.
- Excellent critical thinking skills with the ability to follow safety policies and procedures in every instance.
- Organized, strong attention to detail, and superior listening skills.
- Ability to lift over 50lbs.
- Must be able to work in cold and hot weather outside.
- Previous yard or shop assistant experience would be considered an asset.

**WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING**:

- Responsible for overall cleanliness and organization of the shop, yard, and wash bay.
- Boosting vehicles & starting equipment.
- Parts pickup and errands.
- Washing and detailing trucks and trailers.
- Filing invoices and paperwork related to shop activities.
- Other duties as assigned.
