As a Claims Expert - Civil Liability, you help serve and maintain business relationships with members and clients for all claims.

You handle high-complexity property insurance claims and medium-complexity accident benefit and bodily injury claims. You investigate and approve claims.

You solve problems using your analytical skills and extensive discipline-specific knowledge. You draw on your sound decision-making to develop solutions, negotiate claims settlements and enter into agreements with members, clients, third parties and others.

You advise and assist clients, represent Desjardins and enter the organization into important agreements with clients. Interpersonal savvy is therefore essential.

General Information on the Position

Other working conditions- Have a valid driver's license, company vehicle provided- Work place: Position located in Levis, laval or Montreal, depending on the applicant selected. The work arrangement for the position is full-time telework #LI-Remote- Travel : Yes, 50% of the time, territories that can be served: Laval, North Shore of Montreal, Montreal- Number of jobs available : 1

**Qualifications**:
- General college diploma in a related field- A minimum of four years of relevant experience in claims settlement, including two years as a road adjuster having handled civil liability files

Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered- Hold a personal claims adjuster certificate- Hold a commercial adjuster's certificate- For vacant positions available in Quebec, please note that knowledge of French is required
