**OVERVIEW**:
Moe’s Home Sales Associates are at the core of our customers’ experience. We are seeking an extraordinary individual who provides customers with a unique shopping experience by offering excellent customer service, utilizing effective selling techniques, and providing in-depth product knowledge in a specialty retail environment. This can be achieved by building meaningful, long-term relationships with customers and the use of comprehensive knowledge to guide and advise customers looking to furnish an entire room or simply add an accent piece.

Our Sales Associates are up to date on the latest trends and are trained to work with a range of design styles from classic to contemporary. If you enjoy working with customers in a competitive team environment, have a passion for designing home interiors and have a proven ability to drive sales, this position has the potential to offer you a creative and rewarding career.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Provide sincere, friendly, and energetic customer service by exemplifying world-class service standards.
- Maximize company sales growth and profitability using creative selling skills, teamwork, and customer service, delivering an engaging experience to every customer, every time.
- Utilize effective selling techniques to build multiple sales and increase profitability.
- Demonstrate comprehensive product knowledge, including features and benefits.
- Motivate self to stay accountable to individual sales and service goals, as determined by store management.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers, as well as prospect for new customers.
- Support and actively utilize customer acquisition methods available to the store.
- Assist in implementation and maintenance of visual merchandise presentation, signage, and lighting.
- Uphold store maintenance and cleanliness standards.
- Promote a strong sense of teamwork by working together effectively, respectfully, and efficiently with all associates.
- Associates are required to perform other related functions as assigned.

**SKILLS & ABILITIES**:

- High school diploma/GED or equivalent
- Customer service experience preferred; retail experience preferred
- Good reading and written language skills in English, good communication skills, basic arithmetic, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to move and/or lift up to 50 lbs; heavier product with team assist
- Must be able to work weekends
- Proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
