**Job Summary**
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Plumber to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to start a rewarding career in plumbing. The Apprentice Plumber will work under the guidance of experienced plumbers to learn the trade, gain hands-on experience, and develop essential skills necessary for success in the plumbing industry.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems and fixtures.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand plumbing layouts.
- Use power tools and hand tools safely and effectively in various plumbing tasks.
- Help with welding tasks as needed for pipe fittings and connections.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members on various projects, including HVAC systems as applicable.
- Develop mechanical knowledge by observing experienced plumbers during installations and repairs.
- Perform basic math calculations related to measurements and material quantities.

**Qualifications**
- Basic understanding of plumbing concepts and willingness to learn.
- Familiarity with schematics, blueprints, and mechanical systems is preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to use power tools effectively.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude while working in a team-oriented environment.
- Previous experience in carpentry or related trades is a plus but not required.
- Commitment to safety practices on the job site.

Pay: $19.73-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
