Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring an Income Tax Analyst on a permanent basis on our Finance team. This position is a hybrid opportunity and is based in Saskatoon, SK. Do you have an interest in taxes and like the idea of becoming or being a Subject Matter Expert? We are looking for someone to be part of the team who is motivated and willing to learn and grow their tax knowledge.

**What you’ll do**:

- Prepare the income tax provisions, corporate tax returns, and related financial disclosures for the FCL group of companies, including coordinating the receipt of the necessary information, asking questions of the appropriate stakeholders, and utilizing technical expertise in order to plan and execute this cycle while minimizing potential errors or delays.
- Analyze the tax impact and provide recommendations from an income tax perspective with respect to complex transactions and proposed acquisitions/mergers/divestitures for internal departments and retails.
- Provide preliminary income tax analysis, research various tax questions from other departments and provide conclusions and recommendations for the internal FCL departments, subsidiary companies and local Co-ops.
- Complete Scientific Research and Experimental Development (“SR&ED”) Claims for FCL group of companies.
- Manage the CRS Gift Card Program by communicating with Ernex and local Co-ops on any issues, updates and technical matters, educate local Co-ops on Ernex web portal, activate gift cards and reconcile related accounts for internal departments and supplier promotions and review new gift card products and make recommendations for implementation.

**Who you are**:
You are looking for a career in Finance and:

- Have 6 to 9 years of progressive accounting experience of which 5+ years are related tax experience.
- Have a Bachelor of Commerce, preferably with a major in Accounting (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
- Have a Professional Accounting Designation (CPA).
