**Job Overview**:
The Expeditor plays a crucial role in a restaurant, they are responsible for monitoring the progress of orders, tracking inventory and communicating with FOH & BOH staff. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to join a dynamic team and make a positive impact on our organization.

**Responsibilities**:

- Communicate orders and information between the front of house and back of house.
- Coordinate with kitchen team to ensure timely preparation.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to maintain order accuracy
- Monitor food quality and presentation before it is served to guests.
- Support guest services by ensuring orders are delivered promptly and accurately
- Making sure that food is cooked in the right order, quickly and presented to the customer as beautifully as possible.
- Make sure the orders are being executed to Servers/Food Runners to maintain hot & ready dishes.
- Explain special orders to the cooks and tell servers when the kitchen is out of a menu item.
- Expeditors are also in charge of the final presentation of the plate, making sure it is dressed and garnished correctly and free from smudges or spills.

**Experience**:

- Prior experience in a kitchen or food handling environment is preferred
- Familiarity with food safety standards and procedures.
- Knowledge of food preparation processes and timing in a restaurant or hotel setting.
- Hospitality experience is a plus.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience as an expo in a high-volume restaurant.
- Effective communication skills, team player attitude, and positive personality.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and ability to exceed in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to self-motivate, maintain sense of urgency, and keep momentum.
- Proven ability to build strong working relationships.
- Task-oriented and excellent organizational skills.

**Wage**:

- Starts at 17.00 (based on experience)
