**About the Organization**

We are a small manufacturing company in the healthy food & drink sector looking to expand our sales reach from Nova Scotia across Canada and abroad. We are in our seventh year of business and pride ourselves on our quality ingredients and functional products.

**POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES**:

- Actively manage key accounts in the established Nova Scotia territory of a decent, pre-existing customer base.
- Set up our sales strategy on both the Canadian market and Asian market; assess clients’ needs and be able to select the right products and negotiate prices and close the deals.
- Maintain and grow existing long-standing business relationships with clients.
- Prospect in order to develop new business relationships.
- Understand the products for each of our valued customers to provide real, effective solutions.
- Promote new and existing products with wholesalers & retailers using acquired technical expertise, sales and marketing materials provided.
- Present pre-developed presentations through face to face, lunch & learn & webinar/zoom meetings in order to keep our Kombucha wholesaler, retailers and potential clients educated.
- Utilize sales/marketing software packages
- Conduct sales transactions through Internet-based electronic commerce
- Establish and maintain data base of our wholesaler, retailer s and vendors.
- Prepare sales agreement and communicate with our clients
- Submit weekly reports to the manager on sales activity, important items or issues in order for management to maintain continuity in the business.
- Attend industry related events such as SIAL, FOOD EXPO and so on in order to network and stay current on industry activities as required.

More About You

In order to qualify for this position, you will have 3+ years of experience in a similar role, with a food and beverage background will be a bonus.

The following qualifications or skills would be strong assets for this position:

- Experience with bringing a new product to the marketplace
- A degree or diploma in business or relative field experience
- Proficient in MS Office
- Experience working with dealers and managing a dealer network
- Experience working in the manufacturing industry
- Experience attending and working at trade shows

Security and Safety: Criminal record check

**Salary**: $23.00-$27.00 per hour
