This role is responsible for being on site when there is damage from floor, fire or smoke. As a Flood/Water Technician & Labourer you are an integral part of clearing out the client’s damaged belongings and completing demolition of non-restorable materials. Wages between $19-$28/hour, depending on experience.

**What you’ll be doing as a Flood/Water Technician & Labourer**
- Helping people recover from flood, fire, and smoke damage
- Water extraction, setting up and monitoring drying and dehumidifying equipment, bio wash, creating drying plans based on IICRC guidelines
- Controlled demolition, removal or damaged materials like drywall, flooring, and finishing’s
- Assist with water remediation, painting and carpentry duties as required
- Load and unload construction materials to work areas
- Clean work site area, sorts and dispose of affected materials
- Packing damaged contents, cleaning structures, and tidying job site

**You have**
- Prior experience as s Flood/Water Tech within the restoration industry would be a huge asset
- The physical ability to bend, reach, lift 50lbs safely and repeatedly and stand throughout your shift
- Excellent customer service skills
- The ability to wear PPE (this may include gloves, respirators, goggles, hard hats and Tyvek suits)
- Flexible availability. We are a 24/7 emergency services company, and all positions will have a component of on-call work on a rotational basis, in addition to your regular hours
- Eagerness to learn
- A valid driver’s license
- A satisfactory criminal record is required

**Where**
- Hiring in Whistler, Vancouver, Coquitlam, Surrey, Abbotsford, Summerland, Penticton and Kamloops, BC
- Travel will be required to attend job sites in your region (mileage reimbursed at $0.50c/km). Job sites are mostly indoors.

**When**

Typical hours are 8:00am-4:30pm, with occasional overtime required, and sharing in the on-call rotation.
