Logistics Clerk

Signature Supplements Inc. is currently seeking **Logistics Clerk**, based out of our Dartmouth location. This person is responsible for the preparation of documents that are used to compound natural health products, assigning inventory, working from production schedules, and documentation management. The right person is detail-oriented, can give undivided attention to tasks to ensure accuracy, and is a team player with a desire to deliver the best possible product.
**Responsibilities**:
- Work from production schedules to create worksheet documents that our lab technicians follow to compound finished products.
- Verify production volumes and project completion based on production schedule.
- Meticulous with detail to accurately input data and self-verify worksheets.
- Cross-reference between multiple documents to ensure correct lot numbers are assigned.
- Identify potential product issues and offer solutions.
- Understand inventory management and tracking lot usage to verify on-hand inventory, open new lots, complete investigations when shortages are observed, close end of lot, and communicate risks of backordered materials.
- Interdepartmental team support in training, troubleshooting, and verification.
- Understand how worksheet and products are created.
- Collaborate with other departments for problem solving and continuous improvement plans.
- Contribute to updating, maintaining, and following department Standard Operating Procedures in alignment with Quality Assurance Programs.
- Administrative and other tasks as required.
**Requirements**:
- Experience working with QuickBooks an asset.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Attention to detail to meet accuracy standards.
- Able to work effectively in fast-paced Production environment and prioritize competing tasks.
- Production and manufacturing industry experience an asset.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Able to work independently, under mínimal supervision and as a team player.
- Maintain excellent attendance record.
- Able to pass criminal record check.
This is a full time (40 hours/week) permanent opportunity. Hours are 6:30am - 3:30pm with two (2) weeks’ vacation per year along with personal days, benefits after three months and a Deferred Profit-Sharing Program to further enhance your financial wellness.
