We are currently looking for a Mixing/Blending/Recycling Operator to join our team.

**MIXING/BLENDING/RECYCLING OPERATOR**

The Mixing/Blending/Recycling Operator is responsible for maintaining control of the mixing/blending process through accurate weighing and change over of raw materials, as well as ensuring quality standards are met through precise compound flow. The role prepares and maintains the flow of materials to the extrusion department by recycling resins back into the process.

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Review production batch sheets to verify correct raw material input amounts
- Input raw materials utilizing both manual and automated systems
- Operate automated mixing equipment through use of touch screens
- Conduct detailed and efficient cleaning of all process equipment
- Perform periodic preventative maintenance on processing equipment
- Shredding/grinding/pulverizing of product to put regrind back into process

**Qualifications**
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Physical coordination
- Experience with hand held measuring equipment
- Strong ability to count, add, subtract, multiply, and divide and to record, balance and check results for accuracy.
- Demonstrates excellent attention to detail, is well organized and produces accurate work product.
- Forklift license/experience
- Good written and verbal communication skills with excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate professionally
- Ability to work in a fast paced manufacturing environment with continuous processes
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret written information.
- Demonstrated ability to meet productivity standards.
- Observes safety and security procedures, reports potentially unsafe conditions
- Have a strong work ethic and be able to work independently as well as work in a team.
- Ability to multitask and work with changing priorities.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

**Rate of Pay**

Depending on knowledge, skills, abilities, experiences both work and educational the rate could range from $22.00- $25.00 per hour

+ Shift Premiums - ADDITIONAL $.70 / afternoon shift & $1.00 / night shift

**Shifts - Permanent, Full Time Position**

12 hr continental day/night shift, with 4-week turnaround

Averaging agreements in place - 84 hrs biweekly

Opportunity for OT

**Salary**: $22.00 -$25.00 per hour

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 42 per week
