**About Value Advisory (VA) in Canada**

Value Advisory in Canada is SAP Canada’s customer-facing management consulting function. We work with customers and cross-functional teams within SAP to solve complex management problems. We love to collaborate with our customers and with our internal teams to understand business goals and challenges, and how they can be addressed with technology. Value Advisors map SAP technologies to business value and leverage a proprietary toolkit and methodology to quantify the value SAP solutions can deliver.

**About the Role**

The role of a Value Advisory Intern requires a combination of management consulting skills, project management skills, and executive presence. The role is for a fast learner with passion for technology, who will support industry thought leadership, strategy, and management consultation to customers. The analyst supports the Canadian Value Advisory team in positioning and running collaborative consulting customer engagements to build transformation roadmaps and business cases that detail how digital innovations will transform customers’ businesses. Key attributes of a successful Value Advisory intern include positive attitude, willingness to learn, ability to own and drive the completion of deliverables, strong communication skills, ability to manage upwards, professionalism and reliability.

**Focus Areas**
- Strategic Demand Generation in-Region and for Mid-Market and Net New Customer Segments
- _ Activities include:_ Account Planning, demand generation program support, Point of View preparation, and development of SAP value content using proprietary toolkit
- Support and Shadow Value Advisory Engagements
- _ Activities include:_ Customer research, pitch deck preparation, drafting project plans, running benchmarking surveys, business case and final deliverable preparation, supporting Executive Innovation Experience workshops
- Practice Development: Thought Leadership and Value Realization Stories
- _ Activities include:_ Standardized positioning papers, support building of value realization stories for SAP customers
- Value Advisory for Specific Lines of Business
- _ Activities include:_ Standardized templates and self-service for certain SAP offerings
- Value Advisory Multiplier for VA team and Sales Organization
- _ Activities include:_ Point of contact for adoption and training on new VA tools and content

**Experience, Skills, Education, Travel and Language Requirements**
- Pursuing an undergraduate or master’s degree
- Demonstrated interest in consulting, digital, finance, technology
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams and ability to manage multiple stakeholders
- Attention to detail in content creation and industry research
- Presentation and facilitation skills, both in person and virtually
- Problem-solver with tenacity to get the job done
- Keen appetite to learn and a positive attitude, even in the face of a challenge
- Passion for technology; SAP technology knowledge is a bonus
- Proven track-record of meeting and exceeding goals
