**PURPOSE** **OF** **ROLE**

The Inventory Control & Admin Specialist plays a crucial role in the oversight and management of the Company’s inventory and multiple warehouse units, contributing to the profitability of Promat and elevating peer experiences. In addition to ensuring a smooth and efficient management of inventory, the inventory Control Admin Specialist will provide vital administrative support to enhance overall operations.
**KEY** **RESPONSIBILITIES** **AND** **ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Inventory Coordination
- Tracking, reconciling, documenting and reporting of all inventory items in multiple locations.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, investigating variances and anomalies, and present appropriate recommendations and solutions.
- Ensure stock levels are adequate to meet demand without overstocking, utilizing reorder points. Validate Min/Max levels.
- Maintain inventory processes, including: receiving, transfers, purchase order creation
- Maintain inventory tracking procedures to optimize inventory levels
- Collaborate with supplier, vendors and internal logistics teams to ensure inventory is available at the correct shipping location required.
- Inventory Stock Audits and Reconciliation
- Oversee the use of inventory management software, ensuring data integrity and providing reports on stock levels and trends.
- Provide inventory information and assistance to internal teams (ie. Sales, Operations, Logistics) and external customers and vendors, ensuring timely responses to inquiries.
- Identify opportunities to improve inventory processes to streamline operations and reduce/eliminate waste or inefficiencies.
- Administration Support:

- Assist with daytoday office operations, managing communications (i.e. answering and directing telephone inquiries) and handling flow of paperwork.
- Support weekly teambuilding activities, including Thursday lunch ordering and collecting.
- Crosstrained to support and cover peers (i.e. customer care, logistics, sales support) during periods of growth, high volume transactions, absences, and vacations.
- Support internal Sales and Marketing teams in preparation for tradeshow activities, including organizing and cataloguing assets and materials, and coordinating logistics therein.

**QUALIFICATIONS** **AND**
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Postsecondary education and 5+ years of experience considered.
- Exceptional aptitude for prioritizing competing demands, with an innate ability to recognize the “why”, recommend solutions, forecast inventory needs, and seamlessly organize multiple inventory locations with calmness and composure.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
- _Familiarity_ _with_ _Business_ _Central_ _an_ _advantage._
- Proficient at fully understanding inventory transactions related to business activity and warehouse movements.
- Understanding of endtoend processing, shrinkage, FIFO, cycle counts, and setting strategic Min/Max levels.
- Ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams, demonstrating effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to foster meaningful relationships and outcomes.
- Committed to operational support and/or processdriven experiences.
- Exposure to Lean principles, systems and tools an asset.
- Selfmotivated with high energy, ability to measure and track KPIs, manage and meet deadlines for multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Experience in fostering meaningful interactions within a team where support, respect and trust were exemplified.
